In some cases, you may wish to disable your 5G to the eSIM as where you at does not have good coverage for 5G. In this guide, we will walk you through how to do this on iOS.
iOS
1. Go into Settings and tap on Cellular/Mobile Data.
2. Click on the eSIM you want to remove 5G for. (In this example, we are going to use Personal).
3. Once you are in selected eSIM tap on Voice & Data.
4. From here you can turn off 5G by selecting 4G/LTE instead.
5. Ensure 4G/LTE is selected, then turn on and off airplane mode.
Android
1. Go into Settings and tap on SIM cards & mobile networks.
2. Once in this section, click on the eSIM you want to turn 5G off for.
3. Tap on Preferred network type.
